Several key cast and crew members have had to remain home due to Covid. We have been switching actors around, removing characters and doubling up with minimal understudies crew, and ushers! The good news is, everyone is safe and relatively healthy but unfortunately this time, the show cannot go on.
Of course, we all know why we do it - for the children. It’s an impressive introduction to theatre. The stories we tell have life lessons to teach. Just perhaps, the kids leave our theatre and go back to school and home remembering that sharing with someone who has less than you is the thing to do, nobody’s perfect and we forgive and love them anyway - and a love for music, dancing and acting.
Our Spring production will again be Cinderella: The True Story.
Since we cut back on the number of people in the Theatre (200 vs 330), we feel this will give more people a chance to experience this amazing production. It will also give us time to work towards herd immunity and hopefully get past this in the Spring.
