Drop-In Workshop for Families: Exploring Filmmaking Equipment

Join us for a family-friendly exploration of the professional cameras, lights, mics and other equipment that real Hollywood filmmakers use to create movies. Try them for yourself and see where you might belong on a busy film set or location.
We encourage visitors to attend our weekly Family Matinees film series. A separate admission ticket is required.
The Education team invites families to join museum educators every month to be inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and screenings to create, learn, and have fun. If you have any questions or need assistance planning your visit, please email museumeducation@oscars.org.
