When you trust kids, they trust themselves. Since 1980, Steve & Kate’s has put kids in charge of their own learning experience. As they try, fail, and learn on their own, they learn to trust their own judgment, and tackle the challenges of an ever changing world with creativity and confidence.

ASTEME Academy is a STEM-focused TK–8th grade school offering full-time, part-time, and hybrid options. Our mission is to inspire children to love learning and grow into thoughtful innovators and leaders. Students learn through hands-on, project-based experiences that connect academics to real-world applications. Our program fosters curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving across a rigorous core curriculum and 60+ electives in science, art, technology, and design. We value equity, provide financial assistance, and celebrate diverse learning styles.
