Play with shape, color, and composition using items provided in a custom Skirball art kit! In this live workshop, led by artist Katie Lipsitt, decorate your own beautiful Hanukkah box in which to keep candles, dreidels, and cherished family mementos. Learn about how Lipsitt’s heritage informs her artwork and share some of your own family influences and traditions.

About the Art Kits

Each art kit has materials for one finished art piece. Households with multiple participants can work together to create their art piece or purchase additional art kits, as desired. Although most materials will be included, participants will need to provide their own scissors and are encouraged to come prepared with copies of their favorite family photos to incorporate into their collage.
