Allan Yu, founder of ASTEME and former director with the UCLA Math Project, leads our Math Guild program, which builds confidence and proficiency in mathematics while developing a deeper understanding of how math is used everywhere. The emphasis will be on solidifying foundational math concepts needed to start the school year strong, while developing the confidence to succeed. Advanced students looking for a more sophisticated challenge will have opportunities to take their learning to the next level. Each week, students will study real-world applications for what they’ve learned and deepen their understanding through dynamic STEM activities and projects, including 3D design, engineering, science, math in nature, and much, much, much more! Every week will have different math activities and themes.
Full 5-day session is $495. Partial sessions are available.
