The mixing of media with paints, photography, and found objects has been a phenomenon in contemporary art since the early 20th century and continues to influence artists to this day. Create imaginative work while exploring the elements of art and design, as well as unique properties and techniques.

The mixing of media with paints, photography, and found objects has been a phenomenon in contemporary art since the early 20th century and continues to influence artists to this day. Using a variety of techniques and materials including inks, charcoal, watercolor, acrylics, image transfers and sculptural effects, discover how contemporary artists are using this variety of mediums to create works of art from landscapes to portraiture and abstraction. Create imaginative work while exploring the elements of art and design, as well as unique properties and techniques.
This course is for students 13-14 years old
Note:
- Materials Fee: A $40 course materials fee is applied on all courses.
- Optional Extended Care: Summer Camps offer Before & After Care for an additional fee of $50 per time slot. Before Care is available from 7:30-9:00 a.m. and After Care is available from 4:15-6:00 p.m. Please select the appropriate box at checkout.
- Lunch Supervision Fee: A $75 lunch supervision fee is required for students attending both morning and afternoon sessions.
