Observations in Black - Photography Exhibit at Altadena Library Main Branch
We will host the ninth annual "Observations in Black" photography exhibition at the Main Library February 1 through March 31, in honor of Black History Month. This collection of poignant images chronicles the presence, resiliency, and greatness of people of color in our community. In conjunction with the 43rd Pasadena Black History Parade, the 2025 exhibit showcases black-and-white images that celebrate and illuminate the African American experience. The exhibit is organized and established by photographer, Alfred Haymond. The essence of Observations in Black is to capture, document, and preserve these visual stories for posterity.
