This workshop introduces students to the fundamentals of digital photography. While being challenged to think creatively, students will develop a working knowledge of the functions of a camera, as well as various historical and contemporary techniques within the medium. We will look critically at images to engage in discussion, while building confidence in sharing personal imagery. Students who enroll in this course can expect to come away with an understanding of the technical and conceptual process of making photographs. Digital camera preferred, but not required.

This course is for students 13-14 years old

Note:

Materials Fee: A $40 course materials fee is applied on all courses.
Optional Extended Care: Summer Camps offer Before & After Care for an additional fee of $50 per time slot. Before Care is available from 7:30-9:00 a.m. and After Care is available from 4:15-6:00 p.m. Please select the appropriate box at checkout.
Lunch Supervision Fee: A $75 lunch supervision fee is required for students attending both morning and afternoon sessions.
