Teaching a solid foundation, Drawn2Art brings the Portraiture Camp back this summer. For students ages 10+, they will be taught the fundamentals to drawing portraits: proportions, detailing features, the process of drawing hair, and using pastels to create skin tones. This summer we are bringing back our Portraiture Camp for ages 10+. Portraiture is one of the most asked about drawing skills when we get new students, no matter the age. From age 4+, parents are wondering, "when does my child get to draw people?"

The fact is, you can draw people whenever you want. The "how to" is the question. Here at Drawn2Art, we build technique, skill, and talent in our curriculum for the students. As they get older, their skill level improves from practice. Their knowledge of shape building progresses. Their ability to understand tone and colors enhances.

Now is the time to dive into portraiture. Your students have learned the basics, they have built their confidence, and they are ready to take on one of the most beautiful skills in art: drawing people.

In this camp we will go over facial structure, proportions, and zoning in on details in every feature. We first ran this camp last summer and the results were incredible! The students I had in the class were so surprised by what they accomplished that week. I am very excited to bring the camp back with Ms. Sandra instructing it.

Ms. Sandra is a graduate of Art Center College of Design, and she is excited to teach the camp and pass down her artistic knowledge to the students.
