The San Fernando Valley Youth Chorus (SFVYC) invites children and teens, ages 3-18, to be a part of its Winter/Spring semester which meets on Sunday afternoons in Canoga Park from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, Jan 22 through June 4, when it culminates in a Family Concert and Dinner.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
With only two more weeks to register, throughout the Chorus' semester, young singers will experience the joy of singing together through choral practice and performance while developing skills such as breath control, expression, tonality, sight-reading, and improvisation. What’s more, learning music of different eras and genres allows them to better understand community, culture, and their own voice in today's world.
