Del Aire Park

In 1958, this seven-acre community park was given its name by then Los Angeles County Supervisor Kenneth Hahn, just two years after it was acquired. The facility was once described in an article in the Los Angeles Times as one of the top places to play pickup basketball in the Los Angeles area. Over the past five years, the park has been the recipient of several refurbishment projects including a new children's play area. By the end of 2012, the community will enjoy a brand new community center and gymnasium. This busy community park is located immediately adjoining the Jose Sepulveda Elementary School.
