DrumatiX is an award-winning bi-coastal dance and percussion company founded and led by artist Noa Barankin, operating in Southern California and Boston. Combining tap dance, body percussion, live drumming, found objects, invented instruments, technology, clowning, physical theater, and audience interaction, DrumatiX creates high-energy, highly visual performances for audiences of all ages.
Recent engagements include The Music Center, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, La Jolla Playhouse, The Old Globe, Pasadena Playhouse, Jacob’s Pillow, and Lincoln Center, along with performances for schools, arts education programs, festivals, and corporate audiences. DrumatiX has received accolades including **Best Live Theatre & Family Performances** from Boston Parents Paper (2023–2025), **Audience Choice Award** at the 2024 San Diego International Fringe Festival, **Pick of the Fringe** and **Best of Broadwater** at Hollywood Fringe, and BroadwayWorld LA nominations for **Best Ensemble** and **Best Dance Production**.
