Gilchrist Farm is local ranch offering horse boarding, horseback riding lessons, camps, birthday parties, weddings, eggs, goats milk soap, turkeys and hogs. Slow down and enjoy the ranch! Live your ranch dreams while we do the work. Come out and learn how to milk the goats, gather the eggs, or take a horseback riding lesson.
Let us take care of your horses or help you learn all about what it takes to have a horse of your own. Enjoy the ranch for your most memorable events, birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, etc. Visit our Country Store, online or in person, and try out Goat's Milk soap, fresh eggs, order a home grown hog or Thanksgiving Turkey! Gilchrist Farm Summer Farm Camp is the perfect way to celebrate summer! Get off technology and get outside on the farm! Learn to ride horses or advance your current riding skills. Get to know the cows, horses, pigs, sheep, goats and bunnies! Learn traditional crafts (soap and candle making), play in the mud! Run. Adventure. Explore! Our entire camp is OUTSIDE! We have SHADE, misters, and so much to do. Shear a sheep, milk a goat, pet a cow, gather eggs, run with the piglets!

At Gilchrist Farm, we have a holistic approach to horsemanship. Learn about horses from the ground up. We teach a comprehensive view that gets you prepared to own your own horse, enhances your relationship with your horse or just simply provides a safe and fun experience for adults and children. We teach English, Western, and Driving and are here to prepare you for the arena, the show ring or the trail. Introductory lessons through advanced competition. Fun show, parade and play days onsite. For our younger friends, we offer Junior Lessons on our sweet ponies or horses! These shorter 1/2 hour lessons teach all the basics of good, safe and effective horsemanship in a shorter lesson format, ideal for younger riders. Junior lessons are $40 and are appropriate for children ages 3-6. To schedule, contact us to arrange a lesson.
