Community ceramics studio taught by interdisciplinary artist Iman Person. We prioritize people of color, beginners, and LGBTQ+ communities. Handbuilding is a relaxing and forgiving way to try pottery without the wheel while also allowing you to get creative and decorative. Learn the step-by-step fundamentals of pinch pots, and slab construction. Level 2 includes learning coil construction while making one larger sculptural piece. All materials, firing & glazing are included to keep pieces.

ORÍ CERAMICS is the sister to ORÍ ARCHIVES, featuring handmade works of ceramic art that are inspired by intuition, migration, and nature. We teach the fundamentals of ceramics to children and adults in classes that are intimate and student-focused and are available for group workshops, or individual lessons in the art of clay.

ORÍ ARCHIVES is a platform that celebrates ancestral stories and cultural heritage through hand-crafted artifacts and community. Through discourse, shared experiences with the earth, and cultural mindfulness- ORÍ ARCHIVES seeks to nurture and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our communities. Whether through exhibitions, workshops, or online resources, ORÍ ARCHIVES is committed to creating a space where these stories can be shared, honored, and preserved for future generations.
